TVFF Spring Trip and Sowbug Festival, Mt. Home, AR. – 7 day annual fishing trip to the White and Norfolk rivers held between mid March to mid April. Trip coincides with the Sow Bug Roundup, a three day fly tying and fly fishing show.
Earth Day, Hayes Nature Preserve – An education/outreach activity held the 4th week in April where TVFF provides fly tying demos, fly casting and fly tying classes and interacts with and answers questions from visitors.
Donavan Lakes Trophy Bass Trip, Marion AL. – 5 day annual fishing trip held the first week on May. A private bass club where past club trips have yielded numerous bass 8 lbs. bass and 5+ lbs. fish are common.
Hopper Trip, Mt. Home AR. –7 day annual trip held during the “hopper season”, usually in September, to the White and Norfolk rivers for some dry fly fishing.
Wheeler Wildlife Open House, Decatur, AL. – An education/outreach activity held in mid October where TVFF provides fly tying demos and interacts with and answers questions from visitors.
Fallen Leaf Festival, Hays Nature Preserve -An education/outreach activity held in mid November where TVFF provides fly tying demos, fly casting and fly tying classes and interacts with and answers questions from visitors.
Trunk or Treat, Faith Presbyterian Church – Supporting our host by participating in the FPC annual Trunk or Treat. You can join us in handing out treats to hundreds of ghosts and goblins who stream by the TVFF Trunk or by providing candy to be handed out.
Aldridge Creek Cleanup – Annual conservation and community service outing to rid TVFF’s adopted mile of Aldridge Creek of the trash and debris that has accumulated from spring runoff. Don’t be surprised when you hear expressions of gratitude from greenway patrons.

Madison County Lake, Gurley, Al. - Day trip to nearby Madison Lake for fishing and picnic. Date TBD.
TVFF Family Picnic, Local site and date TBD - Day devoted to the family with fishing and games for the kids. Date TBD.
Elk River Day Trip, Beach, Hill TN. - Day trip to the Elk river near Tim's Ford Dam for some trout fishing. Depending on the interest, we will wade fish, float the river or both. Date TBD.
Caney River Day Trip, Lancaster TN. - Day trip to the Caney river n for some trout fishing. Depending on the interest, we will wade fish, float the river or both. Date TBD.
Saltwater Trip, Place and date TBD – A multiple day trip to the Gulf Coast with or with or guides. Trip details will be fleshed out if there is interest in such a trip.
