The goal of the Tennessee Valley Fly Fishers is to increase awareness of fly fishing through outreach programs and to provide educational opportunities for the beginner as well as seasoned fly fisher.
To this end, TVFF offers a free mentorship program designed to help members become a skilled fly fishers with personalized instructions both on and off the water.
Guest speakers provide informative presentations at each of our monthly meeting on the many aspects of fly fishing including gear selection, cold, salt or warm water fisheries.
TVFF offers various “How To” online presentations in the Members Only section on a wide range subjects from Fly Fishing 101, trout, largemouth and smallmouth bass and saltwater fishing.
The TVFF fly tying group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. The flies of the month (FOTM) are posted under the Fly Tying menu in the FTOM tab and in the Club News. There is a nominal fee (usually $2) to cover cost of materials and fly tyers of all skill levels are welcome.
